Subject: Which Modeling Tool for the Non-Energy Sectors is Best? Posted: 3/25/2009 Viewed: 1387 times | Hi Everyone, I work for the Chilean Government with the team that is currently preparing our Second National Communication on Climate Change for the UN. I know everyone here has probably had some experience with LEAP and maybe other energy sector modeling tools but I am specifically wondering whether anyone can share any sage advice about non-energy sector tools such as IMAGE and COMAP. We are about to solicit a mitigation study for the non-energy sector and any suggestions/pratical observations about any of the available methodologies would be extremely welcome. For example, are there any tools that are particularly good for developing mitigation scenarios or has anyone been involved in preparing a National Comunicacion where one of these tools has been used?
